Join our fantastic Summer Camp in Richland Hills!

From May 28th - August 24th for ages 5-12 years

At Crescent City Academy, our Summer Camp supports parents who need additional childcare between May 28th and August 24th, 2024.

We understand that due to changing work schedules and commitments, you need a reliable care service during the summer period, and that’s where we come in!

Refunds

Legacy CDC does not give refunds for fees or tuition paid unless we dismiss your child after payment has been received for additional weeks.

Activities

Due to COVID restrictions, students will not be participating field trips/outings. All in-house activities will be onsite (calendar of activities will be provided by 3/1). Activities include: science activities, cooking activities, arts @ crafts projects, special lunches, and water playdays!

Behavior

We have a high standards of behavior for all our students. At Legacy CDC violence, bullying, and disrespect of property and others will will not be tolerated.

Arrival Time

Legacy CDC opens at 7:00 am. All children must be walked into the center each day and signed in by a parent or guardian. Please arrive no later than 9:00 am as we have many activities planned and do not want your child to miss out on any activities we provide.

Meals

Breakfast will be served daily at 8:30am. Please arrive no later than 8:45 if your child would like to eat breakfast. Lunch will be served at 12:00 pm. Snack will be served at 3:00 pm. We have menus posted in the lobby. If your child does not like what we are serving for breakfast or snack, he/she may bring something from home to eat at those times. As a reminder, we are a peanut free center. Please check your child's food for allergy warnings. Please keep heat times to two minutes or under as it takes quite a while to heat up our lunches. Drinks should not contain added sugar or caffeine. We serve milk with breakfast and lunch either milk or 100% juice or water with snack.

Allergies and Medications

Please inform staff about any allergies your child may have, whether they are food or seasonal regardless of severity. We want to be sure we are prepared for any possible situation. If your child needs emergency medication to be left at the center, or needs medicine administered throughout the day, you must fill out a medication form and have signed by your child's physician. All medication is stored safely in a lock box. Medication (both prescription and non prescription) cannot be administered without proper forms signed by a doctor and parent. All prescription medication must be in its original container with a prescription attached. All non prescription medication must be in its original container.

Proper Clothing

Your child need appropriate attire to safely participate in our daily activities. Each child will also need a change of clothes as accidents do happen and we need to be prepared.

GIRLS: Please avoid wearing skirts and flip flops or sandals, especially those with heels. If skirts are worn, shorts must be worn underneath for proper coverage. If sandals are worn, a pair of tennis shoes must be brought to change into.

BOYS: Please avoid wearing sandals or flip flops. If sandals are worn, a pair of tennis shoes must be brought to change into.

We encourage leaving a pair of tennis shoes at all times.

Water Play Clothing

Your child will need proper water play attire to participate in our weekly water play activities. Water play events will be held per detailed summer play calendar (to be provided 3/3). Your child must have a properly fitted bathing suit / swim trunks, a towel, as well as water shoes. We do not allow children to be barefoot or wear their regular tennis shoes for water play. If your child does not have proper attire, they will not be allowed to participate. Children should come dressed for water play on specified days.

Toys and Electronics

Toys and electronics are not allowed. Legacy CDC will not be responsible for any loss, stolen or broken items that have been brought from home.

COVID Protocols/Guidelines

It is recommended for all students (2 & 3 years olds) but required for students ( aged 4 and up) to wear a mask in the facility except during naptime, meals and outdoor play (unless the child has a medical condition or cannot wear mask safely or consistently). Wearing a mask is required for all school age students if students can wear their mask safely and consistently.

By signing this contract addendum, I acknowledge and agree to above terms and conditions as well as the terms and conditions in the Legacy Child Development Center's contract.
