Who We Are
Crescent City Academy is a local family-owned and operated childcare center by Tameka and Ralph Bryan. They were born in New Orleans, Louisiana and in 2005 relocated to Texas with their two sons and are proud to call Texas their new home.
We believe our carefully curated approach gives children the best possible start in life as we encourage exploration, discovery, emotional intelligence and building friendships.
After experiencing child care that wasn’t enriching, Tameka and Ralph Bryan could see their youngest son struggling to meet those key developmental milestones. The lack of high-quality early education and care sparked a dedication to ensure that children are given the start in life they deserve.
They decided to do things a bit differently by creating a childcare center that focuses on nurturing and preparing children for a lifetime of success through our comprehensive curriculum and experienced teachers.

About Our Locations
When you visit us here at Crescent City Academy, you’ll see firsthand what makes us different! Our two incredible centers offer the same high-quality care and comprehensive early education designed to ensure children are kindergarten ready.
Our Haltom City Academy includes:
A big outdoor play space with age-appropriate equipment for children to engage in outdoor learning and play.
Located 1 block away (within walking distance) from Birdville Elementary School making pick-up and drop-off
convenient for parents. We also provide transportation to and from the elementary school.
Our Richland Hills Academy includes:
A big outdoor play space with age-appropriate equipment for children to engage in outdoor learning and play.
Located on Blvd 26, we provide transportation to all Birdville ISD Schools in the area.
Infant
6 weeks - 17 months
Our Infant Room is split into 4 separate rooms aimed at providing age-appropriate, developmental milestone-appropriate, and individualized care for our youngest children.
Our first room is for children aged 6 weeks - 6 months old; these little ones are in the early stages of their development and are not yet mobile.
We then have two rooms for children aged 6 - 9 months; one room is for children who have started to crawl but haven’t quite started to walk yet and the other room is for children who have just started walking.
Our final room (Tots Classroom) is for children who have started to walk and talk; children are typically aged 12 - 17 months old in this room.
Toddlers
18 months - 2 years
Our Toddler Room is prepared for the next developmental stage. The focus of this room is potty training, we prepare children for Potty Training Graduation which takes place in May.
Preschool
3 years old - 5 years old
Our Preschool Room is designed for Kindergarten readiness. We ensure every child in our preschool room is prepared for kindergarten and the world beyond! We offer a preschool graduation every May to celebrate our preschoolers’ achievements!
School-age
5 years old - 12 years old
Our school-age room is here to ensure our school-aged children to help them succeed throughout elementary and middle school. We offer a range of programs including homework help, fun games, life skill development, outdoor play, and additional tutoring if a student is struggling with a particular subject. We ensure your child has the best educational experience possible!
Summer Camp
Our Summer Camp offers children aged 5 - 12 years old the chance to engage in fun and educational activities that they might not get to.

Our Summer Camp not only focuses on creating fun memories for our campers but also helping foster teamwork, creativity, confidence and leadership skills. We are here to help your child learn and growth throughout the summer while creating memories that will last a lifetime.
